well it comes down to workout out intensity, if you're lifting really heavy weights then you will build some size but less in women because of their lowered testosterone levels, but if you workout moderately then the typical guy might put on an inch or two in desired areas like biceps and chest but lose inches in place like love handles if program is done right

yeah peanut butter works too, thats why i mentioned nuts which is peanut butter but they to get the kind that only has peanuts and salt as the only ingrediants because nowadays a lot of cheap brands add processed oils to them

Well I jumped in at page 2 and read ' if you want to be both lean and jacked, you have to do cardio' so I presumed there was going to be 6 pages of broscience.

Forgive me if you guys have stepped in and added something of value.

I'm a qualified personal trainer and nutritionist, for some context.

Oh yeah, definitely - especially the part about women. But I would rather stress the intensity than the weight part as I have already said - your muscle doesn't give a shit how much you lift, it's more about giving it "something to work with" - which is why doing stuff with (often lower) weights in more motion is a lot harder than simply lifting stuff. (seriously, try some exercises with clubs and start try with a weight of 8-10 pounds, you're not gonna get shit done)

Seen this guy exercising with 50 pound clubs. That's like seriously insane.
