This stuff is like crash/bang/boom actions movies. Great to kill some time to and get mindlessly lost in when you're in the mood. If you try and compare it to Oscar nominated films and the like it just isn't going to come close...because it isn't supposed to.
Serves it's purpose and doesn't try to be some top 40 song you hear every day sorta thing. Just how I've always thought of this genre, which I love, but know isn't for everyone.
