Yep, Celebrity Touch vibes that I got back when the single first hit were right.

My beef with this album right now is that it seems like a less focused, less immediate Fear of a Blank Planet with better bass work in exchange.

CT reminds me of FoaBP (the track).
We Got Used to Us reminds me of Sentimental.
Escalator Shrine reminds me of Anesthetize.

Maybe it's more of a grower than Blank was. I dunno.

Some really great riffage on New Generation and Celeb touch, and Feel like Falling is ridiculously
enjoyable.

Yeah it does, and some great melodies, and of course brilliant keyboard work.

'We got used to us' is a great ballad and is also similar to the excellent 'Loose Heart' from the album Out of Myself.

I kind of got the "Conceiving you" vibe from it

Well. I wasn't really that high on their early albums. I'm pretty sure this is my favorite release of theirs. Escalator Shrine is easily their best song.

Hybrid's transitions and intensity are incredible, and they maintain it with so much ease, and the electronica elements are very tastefully done, Michal's da man.

It didn’t impress me at first, but I’m enjoying it more with each listen--definitely a grower.

Though I preferred the previous album and SLS overall, the "Night Session" bonus tracks are arguably the best thing these guys have ever done. Dat Sax...
