sick band. don't get what jac's saying about the clipping. maybe he has poor quality files. the production quality here is pretty great, especially the cymbal sound.

Solid pv. Not the best out there.

One of the better modern bands for sure though, mainly considering that almost all modern pv sucks ass.

Most of it does *cough* Weekend Nachos *cough*, but there are some fucking gems in the modern pv scene. Bands like water torture, yacopsae and these guys are good examples.

Those are two of my favourites for sure, though Yacopsae's been around since 1990 so I never considered them a modern pv band. but yeah pv is a genre where most of the most well known bands are the best (talking the originals, none of the modern day well known shit like weekend nachos or nails)

The only reason I consider yacopsae modern is because tanz Grozny tanz was released in 2007 (I think). Have to agree with the old-school well-known bands being the best, although these days you have to dig around for good pv, most of the well-known modern pv is either not very violent or aimed at meatheads.

even the good underground pv bands these days are just "pretty good" or "decent" considering veeeeerrrry few of them match the groundbreaking uniqueness that all the old greats seemed to have. now they can make some good aggressive shit, but none of it really sticks with you the way a man is the bastard or despise you record would

Iron lung are solid but not as good as the 90s bands tbh, like all modern pv.

Modern pv is really weak tbh. It seems like even the best modern pv is barely a patch on the classics of old, but in what seems to be a genre filled with shit, they are, at least, a breath of fresh air.

Agreed. I quite like Iron Lung but again, as you said, are barely a footnote on the classics.

I guess I must have a bad download because this thing crackles and fizzles like crazy, I just checked Audacity and got this.. http://i.imgur.com/PcQIqvJ.png

Maybe there's a vinyl rip floating around

It's by far the most common one on soulseek but I just found a 320 so fingers crossed
