This was actually a pretty fun to listen to album. Reminiscent of Number[S] or however you spell it, but with less breakdowns.

Brent Taddie can literally play anything on drums. Unfortunately, the album is so vocally driven that he doesn't get much of a chance to put his skills on display.

I expect them to get more technical and mold their sound into something unique- as long as Rise doesn't try to turn them into another underwhelming band just to satisfy the scene kids.

Everything Joey Sturgis produces is average as fuck, this is pretty much no exception. Slightly more enjoyable than all the other genericore but still has nothing special or particularly interesting going for it. But they do have talent, so hopefully this means they can make something worth re-listening to later on.

I don't think that having Joey Sturgis in the producer's chair really hurts the album. Honestly, he does a better job on this album than a lot of albums. There is audible bass and the guitars don't just sound like a muddy wall of sound. Andy Leo's vocals also sound a lot crisper than they did in Limitless.

I dislike this band but have trouble finding out whats wrong with it. overproduction? borderline retarded frontman? stereotypical scene band members? nevermind, that wasnt as hard as i thought

All great things are hated to begin with. This album is no exception. Unlistenable the first four times I attempted to get through it, now I can't get enough (except for the opening track. I still think that's s**t).
