The Will Return is better than HCDR and AYDY, imo. But I'm not sure about this one.

each track sounds extremely different from the last
This is a very wrong sentence, but the other things of your review did outweigh that sentence. Shame that track 5 till 8 weren't on your recommendation list.

God damn, I've listened to "Time Takes Us All" like 10 times today, I fucking love that song. Really digging this album atm. I love the new vocal style.

Groan Of Wind is easily the best on here. It's such an awesome song.

Anyone ever noticed how similar the intros to With Terminal Intensity and Heroes to Us are?
I dont know if anyone has noticed this but if you listen to the opening riff of "Heroes to Us" from Kalmah's last CD Swampsong, it is the EXACT same opening riff as "With Terminal Intensity", except written in a different key.... lol its strange but awesome. Love this CD btw.
Haha. I don't read the comments in between. Just the latest ones. And the intro to Withering Away sounds kind of sounds like CoB's Bed of Razors.

Or did you notice that too?

I noticed that too. Heroes to Us kicks its ass though (although both songs are good).

Kalmah will NEVER top Heroes To Us. Their finest hour by far.

Good album for sure. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to agree that it's a bit on the repetitive side. Pekka's new vocals lend themselves well to the less thrash/more death style that the band has adopted. However, I really wish that his vocal melodies didn't mirror the guitars in virtually every song.
