There are 3 eras to this band. Of course the albums recommended above are from their classic era, with a classic feel. Their next era was experimental and industrialist from 1992-1999 - avoid those, for now at least. Their third era was their return to form with Violent Revolution, which is one of the best comeback albums ever. That was followed by Enemy Of God, Hordes Of Chaos, and the new Phantom Antichrist. I think Violent Rev onward is just as good as the early material - with better production.

violent revolution was pretty boring imo. so is enemy of god. hordes of chaos is alright, and i think phantom antichrist is their best album since coma of souls.

Violent Revolution was a critical record considering the style of their 4 previous records. I tend to prefer Enemy Of God and Violent Revolution over Hordes and Phantom. Love em all though!

Excellent structure on this album and some very good songs on this album i like Enemy Of God, Impossible Brutality and Suicide Terrorist at best. No weak tracks can you find on this album, maybe little to repetive.

I think this album is better then their old ones. Their late music is much better. You can understand the lyrics a lot better as well. I would rate this a classic and it beats the piss out of Megasucks over rated Rust in Peace album.
