Now back to discussing the album.

His pitched up vocals in Dimple were unexpected and amusing.

It had more up until the last day or so. I guess that's the problem with an album like this being featured on the front page.

I understand why some people would hate this, though. It really isn't for everyone and isn't want peopel would look for in music.

scott 4 might be my favorite, the drift is pretty close. i didnt really get any of the lolcountry scott albums but i have scott 3 and 4, climate, tilt, drift and this, but i havent jammed this yet. tilt is kinda eh. drift is way better

tilt had a cool feel but I just didn't really get into it. It's not bad by any means, I could see why anyone would hate any of his post scott 4 albums too, even though tilt was the least enjoyable one for me it's definitely a good transition that helped set up what he would do with the drift, and Im guessing this.

70s Scott Walker (besides the songs he wrote for Nite Flights) doesn't really matter. Scott Walker himself hates them and doesn't want to re-release them. It was a rough period for him

It was because of his record label and the commercial failure of Scott 4. You should watch the documentary "30 Century Man", it goes in to detail on the progression of his career.

does his early stuff sound like this at all? I heard a song from this and it was pretty cool but I'm not sure if it's my thing or not. he's been making music since like the 60s though right? best starting point maybe?

his early stuff really sounds nothing like this, scott 4 kind of has this dark tone to it though that suggested he may revisit that type of thing at some point. and he did. scott 4 may be my fave though its so fucking good

His 60s work was much less harsh and abstract. Start with either Scott 3 or 4 for his 60s stuff.

HOW ABOUT,

THEN THERE'S,
