i always say that even if they aren't my favorite band per se, i still love horse the way i love no other band, partially for that reason.
@tmob check this old interview out, they talk about it a little. there used to be more stuff (i think on the horse myspace) but i can't find it anymore. they just talk mad shit about chiodos basically. "we you know what a band is, but what is a chiodos?"

This is far superior to Phantom in almost every way. Faster, (mostly) heavier with less shitty clean singing and the production doesn't sound like a layer of plastic is coating the record. That said, Phantom does flow better because that's a fully realized record and this is just a collection of leaked songs compiled together by fans, so it only has three of the tracks and one song that wound up on Doppelganger rerecorded. This is much more in line with their self titled sound, while Phantom is more along the lines of In the Unlikely Event, IMO.
