Lazy Bones is one of the best songs from the trilogy, c'mon.

It's a solid rock album. I don't get all the hate this trilogy gets.

it has its moments. its terrible, but has some moments.

three albums at the same time was a bad idea. a 12 track album with some songs from the trilogy would be a 3.5 at least.

They really shot themselves in the feet with the whole trilogy thing.

they really shot themselves in the feet with 21cb too, but at least its kinda forgivable. when american idiot blew up, they didnt know what to do, so they tried to write another rock opera. even though 21cb is really big, it met some poor reception (though the userbase here seems to dislike it more than most other sources). they didnt know what to follow that up with, so they made 3 albums at once. hopefully they have a better idea of what to do next, since songs like lazy bones x kid and even nuclear family show that theyve still got something in them.

This sucks but Lazy Bones is a great song. I like Stray Heart as well.

imagine if instead of releasing 3 albums they just made this:

1. Nuclear Family

2. Stay the Night

3. Brutal Love

4. Let Yourself Go

5. X Kid

6. Stray Heart

7. Rusty James

8. Lazy Bones

9. 99 Revolutions

10. Dirty Rotten Bastards

Now wouldn't this be a much more enjoyable listening experience instead of one mediocre, one horrendous, and one decent album?

I admit I like Tre, but there are plenty of flaws with it. Uno is really bad, and Dos is worse. 10 songs are enough, Green Day.
