This is are really great album. I felt a bit generous and gave it a 4.5. This is nothing original about it, Radiohead had pretty much pushed pure pop music to its boundaries here and moved on. Street Spirit, Just and Planet Telex are my faves.

Good review, I disagree with it but I thought you presented an excellent opinion.



I actually listen to the Bends with more frequency than OK Computer (although I don't prefer it) simply because it is easier to just sink into and play in the background. OK Computer, on the other hand, demands your attention making it difficult to play unless you only intend on listening and not doing anything else.

Good review and good album...Thom's lyrics aren't quite up to snuff on about half of the songs, but Street Spirit and Planet Telex foreshadow things to come for the band on OKC.

I'm really loving this, it's a lot easier to get into than Ok Computer. Better? Not sure yet, but maybe. I really love Fake Plastic Trees, Just, the title track, and My Iron Lung.
