Agreed that bumping ratings solely because of an artist's death is generally kinda lame though. I'd only justify it if the artist's death gave additional context to the album in question (a la Bowie and Blackstar). I'm struggling to find any extra context that has been added to this album by Chris' death (aside from a couple lyrics hitting harder... "too weak to survive" *gulp*).

Just two weeks ago I lowered my rating as I lost interest in it to a certain extent. A 4 rating just doesn't seem right for me anymore. Bones Of Birds is still an awesome jam though, will give the whole record a spin again soon.

I have a huge weakness for Halfway There, that song puts me in such a good mood.

I actually remember A Thousand Days Before growing on me a lot like a year ago. Eyelid's Mouth, Black Saturday, and Worse Dreams are all great too. For a comeback album, I definitely think this does them justice. Nothing too spectacular, but it's a solid listen.
