The OST is better than the movie imo. Xibalba is hauntingly gorgeous. It could have been mixed better, I don't feel completely immersed in the atmosphere like I used to when I first heard it.

The problem with Hans Zimmer is that he's not very consistent. His work for Sherlock Holmes was alright, but I find a lot of his work to be just plain generic.
