it's an amazing album and if it was by any other band with say, a fair discography ,it would probably be a hard 5. but this is pink floyd and you have to compare everything to this, animals, and dark side..

Except that I genuinely don't like it and PF's other albums had no comparative influence how I rated it (2.5). I just think it's really boring.

Yeah I know, I'm just saying I rate things on how much I enjoy them. Influence, commercial success, other records by the respective band etc. don't factor into it for me.

I don't compare albums within discographies when rating I just rate each album in a vacuum based purely on how much enjoyment I get from it and if that means multiple 5s from the same artist then so be it I mean who gives a fuck
