Thank you all for your comments and for actually making our video be seen by more people, faster than we expected.
Yes the singing is intentional (this is why it's experimental), made to incorporate the nagging sound of some rappers
into a musical progression uncommon in a "rock" song. The vocals have additional effects to make it stand out even
more. Some find it annoying and some love it, some even take the time to send us mail which go from the most
amazing words of love and awe to the most intense hate mail. In the end some get it others like the reviewer hate it.
Whatever it is, we thank you for reviewing it, for watching it and we're quite amazed by how you're actually so shocked,
disgusted and intrigued. Obviously the reviewer didn't even bother listening to the entire album or read our entire
information (for instance Carlos does all the music except for drums and horns in the record) and analyze the entirety
of the art piece, but somehow it made him (her?) feel something so passionate s/he felt compelled to find out more
about us and even go to our page and make comments in there. Interesting how the message in the video about
exclusion, the commentary on how sex is used to "sell" and online bullying, is completely missed but many (including
the reviewer) get drawn into it and eat the bait and participate in it with such venom and passion that it makes one
wonder if they indeed were hated as much when they were children. It's wonderful how this has become more than an
experimental art piece and now it's a social experiment where we're just watching it grow as we eat our pop-corn.
Nonetheless we really believe he (she?) will become a fan pretty soon and will discover our songs crawling in his head
for a long time. Thank you for reading, watching and spreading the word.

Well, I actually did listen to the entire album twice. Sorry if I got the information wrong, I was only referring to the information given on both your website and facebook page. But yeah, I analysed this about as much as I could, and the thing is guys, I think you're taking your music as more of a deep "art" form than it actually is. I give you credit though, I seriously would never have guessed the whole "nagging sound of some rappers" thing as a purpose for the vocals, mainly because there's nothing found in your music to hint at that. The vocals are just plain bad, I'm always all for experimentation, but if it comes at the price of the enjoyment of the music itself, then it's not worth it. Also, I don't think I'll ever necessarily become a "fan" of your music, but I will never forget you guys, for better or for worse. Thanks for taking the time to read my review of your album and comment though, I appreciate it.

Now now, you sound a bit like a hater with a pulpit, this reminds me a bit of Glenn Beck where anything he
doesn't like or understand it's garbage and when given an explanation he hates it even more. Nonetheless,
and like I said in our emai conversation, it's pretty cool you're stirring the pot and creating interest this
way. I remember the first review I read about Radiohead years ago where they said they were "retarded",
that their music "didn't make any sense" and that Thom was "flat" and a "boring self-absorbed loser". I was
so impressed by those words that I went and bought Pablo Honey and I was impressed by the quality of their
work as I heard the complete opposite. On that topic, we finished our album at Abbey Road studios with the
engineer for Radiohead and Coldplay, where our guitar and drums sound was praised with comments like
"this is sonically perfect", especially Wake Up ("a killer opening song") and Far Away. Now just as you did
mention in our emails yesterday, they also loved the killer guitar solos and the synths combination, not
to mention the progression of the entire album where there's a progression from the first to the 9th song
which is then reprised in the acoustic coda. Maybe we're not as deep as we think we are, as you said, but hey,
we spend 12 hours a day 7 days a week working in our music, our videos, sharing with our fans, building our
project independently using what we make from the dayjob to make our weird ideas a tangible product and
as long as there's a reaction our goal is met. BTW This sounds even more amazing in the Vinyl cut we'll
have available in a few weeks, and like I promised you will get your copy (only because I want you to listen to our
"garbage" on vinyl, and see if it sounds worse in your ears lol).

I really appreciate the exposure, thanks to you we've gotten around 5000 video views and thousands of
people more have bought the album since your review. I can only assume it has to do with that. And we
have more weird stuff in the works, the video for Lemon Drops (in production now) is a horror short film
which follows the ironic horror-theme of the song.

In the end, buy the album and be your own judge:

Also the CD and Vinyl will be released for Thanksgiving.

Jesus christ just noticed the band made an account and commented here. They are practically obsessed with defending themselves.

What the heck, why do people give Efrim Menuck a pass and not this guy? I mean not everyone gives him a pass but his
singing is at least 4 times worse but some of the ASMZ albums are ranked in the high 3's.
