yeah that's how I feel for the most part

The spoken word at the end was kinda hilarious. I might give the album a shot if you end up digging it. Looks like these guys are about to drop a new album too.

I bumped this down from a 3 because with every listen, they turn more and more into OM&M. How can you honestly call this post-rock?

I'll just play the 7th track in plug sometime G.
And honestly I'd rather listen to OM&M than this.

the talked vocals are horrendous, and the instruments make it even more random.

Opinions and all, but this is pretty bad for the most part. Like 3 redeeming tracks, other than that most of it seems random and lacks structure. These guys are extremely overrated imo.

band is literal dog shit

I'm noticing that they're pretty divisive around here, makes sense. There's a whole lot of people worshipping these guys today, but gods be good i'm not the only one thinking these guys are pretty mediocre. Positive note on the vocal work on all 3 albums, thats about it.

Nothing, Save the Power They're Given is the only track I still jam frequently

I like the idea behind this band's music more than I like the music.

"I like the idea behind this band's music more than I like the music."
I was going to write a whole thing about how overrated this band was when they dropped this album, but you described my feelings exactly.
