Some pretty good stuff here. And that's a lot coming from me, because I usually despise modern hip hop. This, Kanye West's "Yeezus", & Drake's "Nothing Was The Same" are basically the only modern hip-hop albums I find myself listening to.

im going to assume "countless" means more than 35 then

sputnik has this as the 36th highest rated hip hop album all-time

also google this album and the word classic and you'll see plenty of other people in the hip hop community with the same opinion

To me, there are some pretty average & bland moments in this record. But, tracks like "Sherane a.k.a. Master Splinter's Daughter", "Backseat Freestyle", "Poetic Justice", "good kid", & "Sing About Me, I'm Dying Of Thirst" really bring this up.

Maad city is weak solely because I have no fucking idea what he did to his voice on that track.

not whiny? tbh I find it unbearably whiny on that track.

It's a good song live.

I consider "Maad City" on of the weaker songs. But apparently, that's just me...
