I agree with this, "I Ejaculate Fire" really didn't have much lasting appeal whereas their first album (and to an extent their second) is easily recalled and iconic.

Well then you should watch again.

I completely disagree with the review. Hoglan as always kicks balls. Brendon kills it on the guitars. Bryan Beller was a welcome addition on bass. I for one like that the songs dont necessarily match up to an episode of the show. It makes this a much more straightforward music album instead of an album tied to a show. The songs dont have to be funny in order to be good. They are good on their own. I will admit that it did take me a few listens to fully enjoy this album. It was probably around a 3 at first listen. But once I got more familiar with the songs it quickly jumped.
This one came out during the same time as 5 other albums I was highly anticipating. I dont remember which 5 they were because of how disappointing they were. This one saved the day!

Though I prefer the band's second album by a margin, this album still brings the tight, heavy riffs and excellent solos that have also made the band excel. "I ejaculate fire" and "The galaxy" are simply epic tunes.

I go back and forth between II and III as to which is my favorite.
