honestly to me man, this edges over colors if anything cause its more focused, but the albums are practically the same in just being random noodling with a soft intro song and a crazy epic slapped on the end

colors has way more memorable parts, plus it had way less wacky genre transitions

to me this album is btbam trying to out-btbam themselves

haha I can see that, colors did have more memorable moments but sometimes they felt like carrots; I'd

listen to songs just to hear a certain part. This album has a lot of thoroughly good songs

Dude, there's a country breakdown in it.. I agree with the out-btbam thing, I can't say I've enjoyed

nor wanted to listen to this lp that much.

yeah but that was by far the most bizarre part of the album. basically every song on this has multiple sections as weird as that. its just too all over the place

Haha, that was a funny yet very true statement. I for one, somehow liked this over everything they've done in the past. Need to go back to their old stuff again though.

Still awesome, but I don't listen to this band as much. Still 4.5 for nostalgia value.

Me too. I feel Parallax 1 was the point of BTBAM-saturation for me though.

that's a good way of putting it. i feel like i've just had too much of them. i used to like them a lot, and now for whatever reason i just don't even want to hear any of their songs...except fossil genera. i'll keep jamming that one

I feel the same way as you guys. I haven't had the desire to listen to this band in quite some time plus I never got into anything BTBAM did after Misdirect.
