You guys really dig this as much as Axe To Fall? It's very early stages but ATF blew me away from the 1st listen, this didn't. I mean it's good, very good but it just feels like another Converge album so far. Maybe needed a couple of curveballs a la Grim Heart or Cruel Bloom.

the idea of this album was to create an authentic, no-bs converge sound and both grim heart and cruel bloom were fronted by guest musicians so having those kinda songs here would fight against that

I see, guess so... but they don't NEED guests to create something different musically, surely? Just the odd track maybe. I wasn't expecting a whole album of Converge songs that don't actually sound like Converge, that'd be ludicrous.
