The idea of a seven string Bass was meant to be ironic and over exaggerated, as is much of what is written.
Also, i am aware of the works they produced prior to 'Beneath the Remains, but i generally consider this album to be their breakthrough effort. that is why i quantify it as a 'first studio album'.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Im not a believer in stomping all over an album or 'Fanboying' over it for the sake of it, so i like to provide a bit of context whilst going for some cheap shock humor. I will probably be a bit less wordy in the introductions from now on. I also dont really like number ratings, but the site insists you give one, so i weigh it up based on how unflattering i am towards it in the write up.

As long as I hit all of the main notes and got the point across, that is what matters. If i didnt, its simply something to work on.

Sapient.

I personally like this album the best by Sepultura. The vibe here just does something for me that I don't get as much from their other releases
