yea i hate what this band have done more than the eactual band but they still suk

Knott hates this band because the feign sincerity and emotion, producing bland, samey, predictable, pop-tinged folk tunes. He thinks their lyrics are written to capitalize on their fan's desires to feel genuine emotion. He asserts that the popularity of this band is detrimental to the growth of the influence of real, passionate folk music such as Fleet Foxes or Grizzly Bear.

I don't disagree really like I used to (I kind of agree with his analysis actually) but the songs sound nice in my ear holes so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Based on the ratings, I'll be staying far away from this

that's a mistake for a couple of reasons

a. taking sputnik average ratings seriously is lol
b. the tower of ones would not exist (did not exist for the debut previous to Knott losing his marbles) without the influence of a few staff members that really hate this band
c. idk it's just really stupid, think for yourself.

it's a decent album at best, but there are good songs and enjoyable moments on it.

Good point, Aids. I've never been into Mumford anyways.

I hate this band with a fiery passion and I don't think my 5 section is too Sputnik aside from the
GY!BE and Kanye, although I feel like everyone that originally 5'd MBDTF dropped their rating. Anyway,
all of that aside, this band blows

Mumford & Sons - did release that collection of songs, and he realised that creating a piece of art based on hollow attempts to reconstruct the shallowest tenets of something which is in fact quite elegant, is really not the way to communicate with people at all.
