Form Follows Function, Cold War, Around My Way (TROY Cover), Strange Fruition, Put Em Up? Are you guys sure were listening to the same album, these ratings are all over the place. I see everything from a 1 to a 5. This is no classic, but it has some gems on it. Besides, you're not going to find a whole lot of contemporary Hip Hop on this level. When something is good, recognize it as so. There are some weak areas on this album, but overall the lyrics and wordplay here are astounding. I'm really digging the samples on Brave Heart. Certainly his best effort since The Cool.

The Cool at least served as a damn good sequel to F&L.

I understand Lupe may have a lot of personal shit going on but this is just.... I'm trying to highball it & call it an "attempt" in the right direction and give it the 3 because it's a definite step up from Lasers, but nowhere near the magnitude of F&L1.

Bitch Bad is an AMAZING song. The message and story is told perfectly.



Some of the songs do feel like a lecture, rather than a lesson though.
