Strangely enough, I really like 'Best Excuse'. I think it's extremely catchy. So maybe that's the problem here; lack of catchiness, not his voice specifically.

I actually enjoy his voice although he can get to be a little much some times. I just think the whole "Let's use a lisp" in this song is pretty dumb.

It would be interesting to know how intentional it was.
Put it this way, if this band could somehow get back some kind of dual vocal dynamic, I think everything would work out a lot better.

It all depends on how you look at it I guess. When i listen to pop punk I look for passion/lyrics/relate-ability/catchy, etc and this has all of that. Nothing about the instrumentation is stand-out but for a record like this I don't think it needs to be. There is something very real about this band which is why i love them so much

A lot of people have told me they find great vinyl at Hot Topic, which is pretty surprising.
