Chuck Billy sang on the early Testament as well as the later Testament. He just changed his vocal style. This is a good record, but yeah, not their best effort.

I totally disagree with the opinion that Low was their worst album. Demonic is easily their worst effort. It's just plain boring. It's not a horrible release, just compared to the rest of the discography, this falls flat. No memorable tracks on thealbum whereas with Low there are at least a few solid slabs on it.

This album is their only bad album the rest of the albums are good and just becausd a band changes their style doesn't always mean they are sell outs. Testament is very respected even by people that aren't into them.

I gotta say that Demonic is one of the greatest under rated albums IMHO. I can understand mixed feelings if youre going in expecting thrash, but come on. The Burning Times is freakin epic, why it gets glossed over is beyond me.
After Slayer Testament is the greatest USA metal band to me, and Demonic is the greatest album

I like this album. I think it's unique and has great musicians just having fun jamming. I don't hate any of Testament's albums and love how each one is different and still kick major metal ass!
