I think it's a perfectly reasonable rating. As good as Fun Monster was, this is an album I'd spin more often. Probably a monstrously unsound comparison BUT since robin brings up Change, it's like how I listen to that album much easier than Emergency, but Emergency is considered a more substantial and achieving album.

oh well, I just meant that I feel like Lakes 5's every new album that comes that that's well-received, hence I saw this as maybe a continuation of that pattern (i.e. he didn't see how I saw flaw in this) I didn't mean to sound like such a jerk... I mean if ya really do feel that strongly about this etc. then I'm sincerely jealous, dude! : )

Nah I know what you mean. I personally feel that happened in general with the new Grizzly Bear and Title Fight... If it's good and new/leaked, it's easy to 4.5. The lasting power aspect is difficult to tell with those, personally, this is the first album in a bit that I feel's warranted
