I agree. I really can't see what people hear in that awful song. All I hear fans of Panic Station saying is that it's "funky". What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

How can you say Animals is one of Muse's best songs to date? Yes it's good but that's because it sounds like Screenager and Microcuts combined. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song and the guitar licks throughout are a very nice touch but it's just too reminiscent to those two songs but with worse lyrics. I agree with your view on Panic Station, Madness, and Supremacy (the latter my favorite on the album). However, Follow me comes across kind of bland and tasteless to dubstep fans even though it might be new and exciting for rock fans and vise versa, it's a generic attempt at both. Unsustainable is interesting, not great but a much better attempt at dubstep with a nice sense of political panic; same as Isolated System. However, I thought Liquid State and Save Me were how you explained Big Freeze in the sense there's nothing wrong with them, it just felt like good ideas never brought to life. I'd give it a 2.5/5. The first 3 songs are great and Survival isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be but most of the middle of the album is pretty bad. I wish they'd look at the elements that made them so popular and find new ways to utilize them.

Yeah, I've listened through most of the album, and it sucks. Only a couple of songs that are worthwhile, an even then they are nowhere near as good as their older material.

I kinda love this album because it is so completely over the top and fucking ridiculous. I found Resistance boring, but this is kind of like a guilty pleasure or something...it really doesn't have a subtle moment at all.
