It's albums like these that make me prefer Priest over Maiden ever so slightly. This is my second favourite after Stained Class.

Priest did came before Maiden. So did Sabbath, but even they're not as good as Maiden.

Not as good as Stained Class imo but still obv awesome. my favs off here are probably the first and last track, and Dreamer Deciever ofc.(you got this track name wrong btw, fix it).

When I get to think about this, Island Of Domination's main riff is as wicked as the stuff on Stained Class.

Nice review. Killer album.
By the way, Priest > Maiden. Both are top 4 metal bands, but Priest has so much more diversity than Maiden. Maiden no doubt found a sweet sound and stuck with it, but they're just plain repetitive after 30 years of the same thing.

mhm you guys are nuts. Just think of how different Sad Wings is to Painkiller, and that's not counting all the other twists at turns Priest took in between. Sure Point of Entry and Turbo kinda sucked, but Priest has always been trying something new. That's the diversity I'm talking about.
