This CD is like going to a 5 star restaurant and getting food poisoning. I honestly had to check the radio in my truck during "A Greater Foundation" cause i thought "the used" had interrupted my metallic bliss. What a complete utter waste of talent.

The most glaring aspect of this CD is that they almost recognize how much the clean singing de-claws this album by dubbing harsh vocals over top of it. Nice try, you're not fooling anybody.

They should cut it out with the skull theme. Skull on every album... idk is it just me or is that monotonous?

Was the song My Only Home really necessary? Makes me want to tear out my ears.

Doesn't hit quite as hard as AOBU or APR, but still holds it's own in their catalogue.

Not too heavy, not too soft, just right. I don't know how they pulled it off for me, but somehow I find myself really digging this mix of "extra helping of solos thrash" and "melody- and breakdown-laden metalcore." I would say Resilience and Wasted Words, which unfortunately are back to back, are the only so so tracks on this album. Great, great stuff.

My Only Home is the only song where the clean singing isn't horrid. It helps that the melody was well written, and given the subject matter i suppose it makes sense.

I just don't get why they force it into every song. A greater foundation is one of the biggest trainwrecks I've ever heard, yet the first half of the song is excellent.

whoever thinks the clean singing is tolerable in My Only Home needs to ask a few questions of themselves, its not horrid, its cheap and hideous just like the rest of the cleans.
