Not really. Newer albums are either okayish (The Will To Kill, The Fine Art Of murder), or bleh (everything after The Will To Kill).

Great band, sad that I've never seen them live. They didn't earn the nickname Malevolent Cancelation for nothing.

One of two decent releases by Florida's Malevolent Creation.

The riffs are Slayer-esque, though darker while still being original. The guitar leads aren't very memorable with the best one being on the track Multiple Stab Wounds.

The best thing about this album is the drumming. Mark Simpson gives a very tight drum performance throughout. While he's not the most technical or heavily reliant on blasting, his kick drumming is very good and he mixes it up plenty.

The bass is inaudible for the most part, peaking out only a few times during songs. It doesn't do much except for a brief solo in Sacrificial Annihilation.

Brett Hoffmann's harsh vocal style is more rooted in thrash, delivering intelligible lyrics. He does do some great drawn out screams on the record, especially on Thou Shall Kill! and the title track.

Production is your typical 90s Morrisound.

Good debut record, but compared to the masterpieces of 1991 It wouldn't break the top 15 for that year.

Standouts are Remnants Of Withered Decay, Thou Shall Kill!, Sacrificial Annihilation, and Malevolent Creation.
