Yeah, I disagree w you on almost every point about this album EXCEPT that is a powerful tour-deforce. But "The Nurse" sounding like Disney? You had to listen to it track by track and didn't like some songs at first? This album is like most Pink Floyd, or NIN, or plain most concept albums, it is an album to be listened to as an ALBUM.

this isnt even close to a concept album, compared to eMotive, and all those other bands you mentioned. this is a good, straightforward rock album.

^^^ actually it IS a concept album.... but the genius is you can take each song to mean two different things. each song progresses through the midset of a chosen drug addict and/or the mindset of a relationship as time goes on. the Package if you take it in a relationship standpoint is actually pretty shallow, about basically telling a girl what she wants to hear just for the eventual sex.
eMotive however is NOT a concept album. there's no story in that album, just covers of anti-war songs (with a couple of exceptions)

Definatly one of my favorite albums, it's hard to decide whether it's better than Mer De Noms, that was so great too, but it gave off a different auora. Blue and The Noose i liked alot.This Message Edited On 04.17.07

This is just a superb album overall. I love maynard's lyrics. Probly the best songs are Pet, the Noose, and Blue. Yall should check out the tilling my grave mix for weak and powerless, thats pretty dope
