Why would you bother listening to an album from a genre you seem to dislike? Or are you trying to find that album that will change your mind?

thank god I was doubting my love of you after that 4.5

i'm really, really disappointed with this album, as I loved Hymn. I'm thinking about reviewing it. it'll be redundant and more or less the same as Noctus' but I actually have something to say about this album and that doesn't happen very often.

so this has the lowest average rating of all of their albums. ouch. wonder if that average will grow at all.

this year's been pretty shit for new "pure" post-rock for me. pglost was nothing too special, ITTCT was alright but nothing special, *ancients was alright but nothing special, mono is alright but nothing special. at least valtari is growing on me a lot, but still haven't come across an album this year that's better than 3.5. it's all riding on caspian for me now. they had better deliver. last year was awesome, with years of rice and salt, shels, this will destroy you, etc. hammock's album looks to be good, but they never blow me away. anyone got any awesome post-rock recs from this year?

This is really boring, The new 'Leech' album has to be one of the best post rock released this year.
