Ahren's overproduced vocals are annoying, but damn the man can sing live.

Seeing these guys for the second time at Warped this summer. Ahren is pitch perfect live.

If they actually did nothing to his voice on a record, it would probably sound better.

Catchy as hell. I seriously love Open Letter, shame the video for it ruined it.

My friend played this at school during a class. Teachers automatically thought it was
"devil music". Goddammit.

Listen to Youngbloods or Severed Ties instead, this is easily their weakest album

I don't really quite understand why everyone thinks the vocals are 'overproduced'. Overproduced imo is WCAR type shit where there are obvious software induced pitch changes. This just sounds like any other CD with double tracked vocals.
In Greens Avenue you can blatantly hear parts where Ahren is a bit off pitch and they haven't touched it up.
The production in general on this CD is of a pretty high level, the vocals are just produced up to the same standard as the rest of the music.

it's that tone that's overproduced, not necessarily touched up tuning wise. The doubled up clean vocals sound disgusting and sickening, especially on this. It really brings down the overall quality, which isn't amazing, but eh
