Everyone's raging about Glee and this. Sigh.

Radioactive and Demons are definitely the highlights of the album.

A 2.5 was probably too generous for this

What are your thoughts on Bleeding Out and Amsterdam, Sowing? I'm quite fond of the vocals on Amsterdam.

Eh they're both okay. I really stopped listening to all the songs on here outside of it's time, demons, and radioactive

With its highlights being released previously, what one thinks of Imagine Dragons' debut LP 'Night Visions' may well come down to prior exposure. Taking their cues from fellow Las Vegas natives The Killers, the quartet play a synth-laden brand of indie-rock. It's a versatile, genre-hopping sound whose multitude of killer hooks - as well as infectious rhythms & contagious choruses - are both arena ready & radio friendly. Unfortunately, 'Night Visions' is a little disjointed & runs out of steam before the end, but there's no denying that the mainstream potential here is limitless. Recommended Tracks: It's Time, On Top of the World, Amsterdam & Demons.

i agree almost entirely except for the fact that the track "bleeding out" is towards the end of the album and it is right up there with the best of imagine dragons. but on the whole, i was expecting more.

I'm not a real fan of these guys yet and the electronic elements kinda make me go ew. But they do have a few good songs. It's Time and Amsterdam are my favorites.

fairly decent album

the hits are the best though, aside from "On Top Of The World, and Demons" but worth a 2.5-3
