i do find it really funny that lots of bands re-use riffs, deathspell omega literally re-use the same riff in 2 ep's (Diabolus Absconditus 6:45, opening riff of Mass Grave Aesthetics), the exact same riff. no one even mentions that and instead picks on a band that legitimately doesn't do that.

have you heard other krallice albums or was this your first try? they are an extremely dense band, the first time I heard one of their albums I felt like someone beat me over the head with a chair

this is my first try, and that was not my experience at all. I didn't get the impression that they were dense, and I certainly didn't feel like I was being beat over the head with a chair. It was nice, pretty black metal, but nothing exciting or original happened. I can't fault music for not being original, but an hour is a long time to listen to high-pitched shrieks and tremolo picking when nothing else happens.
