1.5?

"Worse than rain on your wedding day"?

I doubt this is that bad. Need to check.

It's really cheesy TheNotrap. At least I found it to be. The production is so, so, so clean. It's like this:

I'd like it more if the production was roughed up a bit.

Haha well I've got nothing against a clean production if it suits the musical direction.

Will check this asap.

So now artists are no longer allowed to have new experiences which help create tracks which talk about and follow their lives very openly. That's the magic of Alanis Morissette's creativity. She shares real life changes (good & bad) just as YouTube vloggers chronicle their lives. To those less astute at rating music; she is a story-teller. She chronicles her lifes ups and downs - celebrations - the joy of having children, being married, her celebrity (which I believe she's said she is not comfortable with).

One word titles create the tone of a song. The production of each track is excellent. She has provided us with her journey in life and I believe in a clear concise verse which both men and women can relate to. My take is that "Havoc & Bright Lights" is a must for Alanis fans. So sorry Mr. Viney, but I think you missed the point and your reference to Pearl Jam and choices of titles means what exactly. These are two different genre's - besides, Alanis Morissette's fans are interested in the song lyrics then music - both of which I think rank very high compared to the Top Ten artists. With Alanis, you actually hear a voice with great range. In any event, her music is a record of her life (parts of which she shares with us). It always hits a chord with me whether angry, mellow or spiritually refined. She has grown as a person and an artist.

I say thank you Alanis - you rock. No, Mr. Viney - she didn't mean a real dancing monkey - heard of metaphors? Please, please - find a new word for acerbic. Try listening to the music. To Ms. Morissette - "Keep on, Be strong."

Fuck off you weirdo. I didn't like this album and no matter how many tampax you've eaten to achieve this state of moronic bliss, I won't be doing the same. The album is really shit and she needs to stop making music and go to a sewing circle or put a picture of her child as her Facebook photo or whatever it is women of a certain age get up to nowadays.

Of course I know what a fucking metaphor is. Do you know what a mental health worker is? If not, go and get one before any more of my mornings are ruined by your insipid nonsense.

Obsessions like this in general aren't healthy. You can't take a biased opinion seriously. =/

Sentences don't really tend to start with "But" either, but (see?) I'm sure listening to this album as many times as you have has damaged your brain.

well, idk about that. i mean conjunctions can oftentimes seem like the best way to start sentences.

Numb and Edge of Evolution are enjoyable songs, but this is basically a collection of standard radio-friendly pop-rock songs.

I love this album, is very spiritual like Supposed former infatuation junkie, and has great lyrics

I agree, she became cheesy here. "Til You" is the awful.

"Numb" and "Edge of Evolution" are the bangers!
"Spiral" sounds like a teenage carelessness...
"Guardian" has incredible chorus, though the couplets are really cheesy
