This is not her return to form, but the album is quite solid. There are a couple of fillers, but mostly this is legit.

i can't listen to her live. or watch her. if i can't do that i don't think i could connect here. thats what i meant by "chick music." i sat and watched a concert video with a friend recently and it was awful. friend said "but if YOU were there?"

i said 'even worse.' couldn't imagine. her voice is so shrill

There will never be another JLP. Subsequent albums all chronicled snapshots of where Alanis has been angry, spiteful, hurt, confused, helpful, yearning, deity searching. Shes a wordsmith a poet and although the masses have dissipated her journey has always remain to express herself about things that matter far from the vapid, fame hungry, drug ridden, sex obssesed music scene. Why is ANGER the only expression she is allowed to feel shes happy now married and a mother. Her journey is almost complete. There might be few but some see her artistry as inspiring.

It doesn't matter how much you want it, she's never going to reply to any of your letters.

I would just like to say that I love this. "She's found a husband, and had a kid. There's really nothing more she can do now"

I normally like Viney's reviews. This one sucks. I thought the release was half decent.

That is one of the lamest things I've ever read. You should make bumper stickers.

lol. amazing review of scathing proportions. I will most likely not hear a song off of this, cos I even fear that Canadian radio won't play it, nor will I bow and actually listen to said radio. But brilliant.

No, it's nowhere that bad. If it was a 1.5, the mainstream pop music that's on the radio each day should be rated -5.
