I've never really enjoyed bands that try as hard as possible to sound anthemic. And if I wanted to listen to Bruce Springsteen sing, I would. Why can't musicians just use their own voice? These songs are very repetitive and clearly derivative. "singin' oh sha-la-la" makes me want to tear my eyes out.
