i dont really get why everyone is saying your points are hard to argue with or whatever, i mean they are similar to ones you could make about any alt rock band. The review's just written extremley well and concise, which I presume is what gives it that effect, but then again, i never have been able to distinguish between good and bad negative arguments so idk

honestly that's for the better. The definition of "well-written" means direct, consice, and to the point ie easy to understand regardless of the topic. this review says everything it needs to in one paragraph which is the fucking definition of well written. i wish everyone on sputnik would write reviews like this; people should learn from reviews like this one and from the reception they get

I heard a lot of hype around The '59 Sound, checked it out and thought pretty much aaaaalllllllll this. Though I listened to a few songs from Handwritten, it sounded better than '59.
you probably didn't hear it until yesterday...
still love this band, although this is a very well written adam thomas length review (lol) that makes its points proficiently, there are several songs on here which do fail to deliver anything really memorable

that's exactly what this album is, and i don’t need a multi-paragraph review full of specific song references and lyrical analysis to make that assertion. whether they're for bands i like or dislike, all my reviews are around 200 words and just a brief overview of my thoughts. take it or leave it. this album is horseshit

However the hate for titus andronicus that I'm seeing is horribly disturbing and I don't even have enough faith in the new users to say they are just blindly following SeaEric and Porch's opinions .

i realize that. but one or two wouldnt hurt at all. my own impression after reading your review is that you listened to
the album twice and thought, "hey, this sucks and sounds like Shinedown" and then wrote your little rant. not a horrible
review, but like i said, i just like to see at least a little specificity.
