this takes so long to listen to, i would probably like it alot better if it was shorter

I get the feeling that if I listen to this I won't like it and then I'll try and make myself like it and be mostly unsuccessful. I'll then proceed by not listening to it for 6 months, eventually coming back to it and thinking 'this is awesome', would you say this is accurate?
