I feel like sometimes his vocals are flat almost on purpose. Good ass album though

I just think he should stick to his harsh vocals

If he had stuck to harsh vocals this whole album would be awkward and largely pointless though, but I get the sentiment haha.

Also yeah it's good to be back...and stuff...

If he used harsh vocals throughout this whole thing it would have been hilarious

Other than these, good review. I don't particularly agree. Some songs seem really lacklustre and not very engaging, especially when they tread into art rock territory.

It feels weird to be able to make out Baroness lyrics.

Word choice could be varied more, and it is a bit pretentious at times, but otherwise a great review.

Excellent review. Pos'd. I love how the album has less heavy parts throughout, so you're not expecting them, and when they do finally hit you, they hit that much harder. Sheer genius.

I don't think this album is as good as red or blue. I agree with Wacknizzle, this is quite ballady
