Digesting this slowly. Liked the first two songs more than previously thought. Slowly slowly, kid.

I loved this album since I first heard it.

New album is even better though. I think I'd move it ahead of Collapse as my second fav Panopticon tbh.

Chronological order is not a bad idea. Highlights are pretty much Collapse, Social Disservices and the latest LP.

Ehhhh s/t is easily the best imo, then the new album would be after that. Collapse is essential too and I think this one rules
even though I'm in the minority on that. Social Disservices was alright.

But yeah might as well go in order.

I was pretty much going by "popular opinion". As of now I'm really just intwo two of his albums, Collapse and the latest. Social Disservices and On The Subject are kinda so-so, this one makes me cringe and I'd have to relisten to the s/t.

This makes a lot of people cringe lol. I dig it hard though.

But def re-listen to the s/t bro, it's a borderline 5.

well Idk about borderline 5 because German standards and stuff but I'll give it another shot.

Yeah, it's just the flutes, the arrangements.. Idk. If I want flutes now I'll just listen to the new Saor, I just think it works a lot better in that context. (in addition to the whole "Imma be proud omma home turf ye" thing which makes me imagine him riding his lawn mower while sipping moonshine and wearing denim suspenders)

Yeah dude I can definitely see where you're coming from. The new album blends the bluegrass elements with the bm better than this album where it's pretty much you get one or the other. Still think both slay hard.
