Chronological order is not a bad idea. Highlights are pretty much Collapse, Social Disservices and the latest LP.

Ehhhh s/t is easily the best imo, then the new album would be after that. Collapse is essential too and I think this one rules

even though I'm in the minority on that. Social Disservices was alright.

But yeah might as well go in order.

I was pretty much going by "popular opinion". As of now I'm really just intwo two of his albums, Collapse and the latest. Social Disservices and On The Subject are kinda so-so, this one makes me cringe and I'd have to relisten to the s/t.

This makes a lot of people cringe lol. I dig it hard though.

But def re-listen to the s/t bro, it's a borderline 5.

well Idk about borderline 5 because German standards and stuff but I'll give it another shot.

Yeah, it's just the flutes, the arrangements.. Idk. If I want flutes now I'll just listen to the new Saor, I just think it works a lot better in that context. (in addition to the whole "Imma be proud omma home turf ye" thing which makes me imagine him riding his lawn mower while sipping moonshine and wearing denim suspenders)

Yeah dude I can definitely see where you're coming from. The new album blends the bluegrass elements with the bm better than this album where it's pretty much you get one or the other. Still think both slay hard.

yeah you're right it'll be like more spacey or something but I feel like the bm will at that point all sound borrowed from his other stuff. Seems like he uses that like fist-pumping "fight da powuh" rebellious mid-paced rhythm in every album, like at 2:40 in "Where Mountains Pierce the Sky". I swear he does the same things on every album, but just makes them different by exaggerating different influences.

I think you already mentioned that at least 2 or 3 times now.

Not be a downer but I get it. I don't necessarily see it myself but I get it.

tbh nah now that I'm absolutely certain I've said it before I won't bring it up redundantly anymore. But I'll whine about it for days if he does it on the new album (which he will). But there'll be other stuff I'm sure he'll repeat, too, so I won't whine just about is anarchist stomp beatz.

Meanwhile I'll just listen to Wirtshaus Gaudi once I'm not sick anymore and drown my boredom in some good ol' Weizen.
