It is. I dont get it, Chuck obviously toned down the unnecesary parts that plagued SH, adding more brutality and top notch technicality, wo i dont get why when he got the PERFECT production those elements were reversed again.

Altars is brutal & all, but this is like a sharpened Samurai sword.

Altars is also overrated as fuck. And of course i get this: a good prog album that sacrificed too damn much in order to be. I just don't like whats gained more than what's missing.

Hearing it now, heavy stuff.



After 1:00, yeah, it gets pretty intense. Riffs hard.



It's prob punk-influenced, since it's pretty short.



But man, the speed, technicality and highs on this album are hard to match.



And I'm not the biggest worshipper of technicality, but it's used well on this album.
