Tried to stream this on iTunes, gave up because it kept stopping in the middle of "Burn It Down." Though it did once go into "Lies Greed Misery" ... unfortunately. The first three tracks aren't bad, but what I heard of LGM was horrible.
That being said, the part where Chester screams "LET YOU GO" in the bridge of "Lost in the End" reminds me of SpongeBob's scream in "Graveyard Shift."

^Nvm, I spoke too soon. The first minute or so annoyed the crap out of me when I first listened to it, but now that I've listened to it all the way through (decided to start the stream there instead of at the beginning of the album), I'd put it in the class of the first three tracks. Mind you, I apparently like "Burn It Down" a lot more than you do, lol (hated it at first but it's been slowly growing on me).

Oh man the stream keeps sh!tting the bed on me. Now it cut the cord just when "I'll Be Gone" was about to get going.

Linkin Park should've stopped after Meteora. This streamed on iTunes the other night and I checked it
out and let it play as background music as my friend and I played some Left 4 Dead and this album is
pathetic! Maybe even worse than A Thousand Suns (if that's already possible).
The ONLY good track I found is "Lost in the Echo." I actually had high hopes when it started out with
that song, but after that song, it went to hell real quick. I've given up on Linkin Park making a
comeback.

The hate for this band and the albums at times is really ,really funny , stupid and irrational, this album is not the second coming of Jesus but it has catchy and enjoyable tunes and shows improvements . Here the moments when mike sings are not boring; tracks like in my remains, lost in the echo and victimized are well developed and slow tracks like castle of glass and roads untraveled have excellent dynamics and a melancholic feeling.

It's a good review, but I would have to disagree with the statement, "Linkin Park may have finally happened upon nu-metal gold, but there are no buyers." Me being a hardcore fan of their older stuff, and not so much of their new stuff, this is quite possibly my favorite Linkin Park cd. Okay, maybe not my favorite, but I LOVE their new sound. It's a true testament to the evolution of the band. They've grown, they've matured, and I truly believe they've finally found their true sound.

Really liking this album, despite 2 or 3 tracks that are utterly pointless. Castle of Glass on the other hand is fantastic.

I'm confused .... is this a, mhmm, damn, I don't know and I don't care. If I have a mood for an electrical beat I'll go with A Thousand Suns - if I want to listen to shouts, I'll go with the rest of LP discography. This album is just half-way from the Land of great confusion.
