They were only two songs bro. Those are two of the weakest tracks on this album.

Probably my favorite album of 2012 so far. The only thing missing is stellar guitar work. A little too much chugging, not enough badass. But that's my only complaint.

Not enough badass.

That implies theres anything badass to begin with.

Album sounds the same as the hollow to me which got boring fast. While the vocalist is awesome, all the vocal patterns sound so reminiscent of The Hollow.

if only there was more lead guitar work, it would've held up with the hollow. the only thing that stood out was matt's vocals. still a good record though

As a fan since their very first EP with the original vocalist, I'm really pleased with this record actually. Love the little bits stuck in here or there which are a little more rock and roll. Nice little solo in a couple of tracks. Can't wait to hear these songs live.

The live shows is where this band really nails it in my experience.

I'm baffled how Matty's vocals can keep getting better, but they do.

lyrics make me lol really

Thanks mmf for taking the time between synthy breakdowns to remind me how important not blending in is.

I think their lyrics are a lot better than some of the other bands on Rise or who play this genre. They aren't art by any means, but they could certainly be worse.

I've never liked MMF, but I might give this a spin.

okay, shit, i like this as much as the hollow but still the lyrics are so bad they bring the whole album down so much "she smells like trouble and cheap perfume" really?

this would be a 3 otherwise

Yeah, its weird. The Hollow actually has good lyrics. These are decent at best

Hmm, this is a very strong album. Might go up to a 4 in time. Probably even rival The Hollow.

All those teasers, trailers, and other shenanigans had me worried at first.

its really not that weird man, he was vague on 'the hollow'. take 'the commanded' for example, i have no idea what hes talking about after 30 or so listens so im still able to draw my own conclusions and mainly focus on the music.

being vague can go a long way in song writing imo, just sing about the emotions and leave the details out.
