Ghost In The Mirror>everything they will ever do

Didn't make as much of a splash as The Hollow, but it was an improvement in a lot of ways. Can't stop listening.

This album could have been a lot better. It sounds a lot similar to The Hollow but is way too over-produced and the lyrics are nowhere near as good as songs like "The Victim"

the lyrics are the worst part of this

The lyrics to Prove Me Right and Miles Away are so generic, coming from the band that wrote Ghost in the Mirror, that's really disappointing

"^Their best yet was Sleepwalking. And I doubt that will ever change."

I think that Rise records just runs bands into the generic metalcore grinder until they stop becoming profitable. MMF would have been much better off at almost any other label. You put them in a lineup of 50 metalcore bands and they are suddenly lost in the sea. Sleepwalking had so much damn potential and they just said "fuck it".

I wouldn't blame Rise Records, the Hollow was a pretty great album. This is a pretty average album by MMF standards but it is still a lot better than the metalcore on Rise

Bleeding Through and TPIY are better than this band as far as Rise bands go. BT cause they don't sound like any of the other gay bands and TPIY cause they are super heavy and fun live. This band is honestly just pretty boring.

The Bleeding Through album I enjoyed was "This Is Love, This Is Murderous", after "The Truth" I sorta lost interest, but I'd agree they do not sound like the rest of the bands, TPIY sounds too much like a fake, heavier A Day to Remember for me to take them seriously. This album lost too much of what separated MMF from the rest

Delcaration is worth checking out by BT and TPIY I can see people hating cause they are indeed a "risecore" band but I just like they way they do things better. Their lyrics are less gay, they're heavier and also awesome dudes too. For me MMF basically wrote the same album twice and all the songs sound the same for the most part.

MAYBE their next album will be better. If this band even makes it that far.

They were better when they were 'Oh Captian My Captain'.

Everybody listen to their old song, "Be Careful What You Wish For."
That song is easily their best song. It wipes this entire album off the map.

Yeah Be Careful What You Wish For and Action/Adventure are fucking awesome. I'm listening to this album way too much however... me and my low standards might have to pump it up to 4.5. It has grown on me so much lately.

But then again, it has 2 songs which I skip everytime... so I'm not sure if that is allowed for a 4.5 album. Rating is hard.

These guys are very talented, but they are still to deliver a consistent, breakthrough release. Their albums always fall short to me in one way or another. Lacks a certain edge i guess

I wonder how people can listen to their old stuff and still listen to their new stuff without being disgusted. Whose bright idea was it to drop the southern influences and turn their music into generica.

eh, it worked out for them on The Hollow. But this album is kind of a re-hash.

btw by "old stuff" I mean everything before this specific album. Hollow was actually pretty solid in terms of songwriting (although in general, it still cannot beat even their EPs)
