I listened to a few songs off this but nothing really intrigued me enough to listen to the full album.

I honestly love this album, its in my eyes far from generic. Its different and we need more difference in today's music. Matty is a great writer as well although the album The Hollow had no personal experiences in it he still wrote it for the fans. It may pose a threat being married for 6 years and writing music but he did an amazing job at it. One of the best bands on rise, in my opinion.

Sooooo generic. Sleepwalking was great and the Hollow was good even though they mostly dropped the southern twang. I had high hopes for this and it just, well...is so damn generic. All the songs just blend together and nothing really stands out.

Yes, this album is generic, but damn, this album is MONSTER! I just can't find any reason to dislike this. Passionate vocals/screams, lyrics makes sense and personal, intense instrumentals, awesome production.

Because it's generic, it's boring. It's nothing new. I agree that it's played well, concise, well-produced, etc etc, but still. I doubt that this would impress anyone who has enough exposure to this genre.

It's not really that it's boring it's just immature mostly lyrically, the first half is really good but it gets tiresome towards the end. It's just catchy, not much else. I might lower my rating.
