Tim wrote the majority of Frail Words Collapse and contributed to the songwriting on the subsequent albums. Phil is the primary songwriter on shadows, oceans, and the powerless rise. Gilbert contributes to the more thrashy songs like Beyond our suffering, but also put his two cents in on vacancy and other on the more melodic end (this information comes directly from the box set released for TPR). Nick's trade is primarily the lead work, but contributed to the main riff in without conclusion. To be short, all have their contributions, but I'd have to say that Sgrosso is the mastermind behind the rhythm and song structure, Tim, the vocals and lyrics, nick, the leads and solo sections, josh, guitar riffs, bass, and clean vocals, and Jordan, well, the drums (duh).
