"I-phones are great recording devices to store your thoughts and work snippets."
Unfortunately i don't have the cash to afford an i-phone.

"Captain just send it to him via email. Just divide it into two parts, it's only like 45 megs."
thanks Taylor :]
"jezz, my upload speed sucks. heres the first song, i hope Cap doesnt mind, i added a DL link"
no bro I don't mind at all, I was actually planning on making a bandcamp page but haven't had time yet, but thanks for taking that innitiative bro :]
"Unfortunately i don't have the cash to afford an i-phone."
yeah they're expensive for sure, I could only afford it with my upgrade deal but many other basic phones like lg's have recording capabilites as well. I used to use them before I had the i-phone
"Oh wow this sounds great
nice job Cptn"
thanks Ty glad you're digging bro
"lol so now the link begins to work, wtf, got the album cheers shuyin"
sweet glad you got it working MO, I'm not sure why it didn't work for you at first, I remember you telling me before. I think Jethro needed an alternative link as well but that's only because he said he doesn't trust mediafire for some reason. So I'll try to get a band-camp page going asap.

Good job, sir. Your guitar-playing is fantastic. I'm sorry, but I didn't really care for the review.

captain - life or death is really great, good stuff man
|
| |
@ Pax - Thanks bro :] what about Seed's review didn't you like?
@ MO - Thanks brethren!!!

I really enjoyed the EP, and I'm excited to hear this! Also, the cover art is sick.

Cool thanks bro :], hope you dig it hard :]
|
| |
@Captain: That's true. I can definitely see that since it's acoustic and you're using that raw, one-take approach. Still, coming up with these ideas so quickly is impressive and is a more difficult task than going through the actual recording process.
Gonna finally sit down with this tonight.

Cool thanks man, let me know what you thought of it :]

Will probably get my final judgement on this while I'm in Rome since I'll at least have 2 hours for listening to stuff solely driving/flying.
|
| |
Sweet bro, I wish I could travel around like you do. What's goin down in Rome?
|
| |
Heh, I haven't had chances to travel in recent years. Usually I get around by 'accident' (family members/friends/similar).
Advanced history and social studies courses are flying together to Rome because it's a nice city with still an important role. Also: awesome food. I'll probably make 5 million photos & eat 5 million kilos of pasta.
|
| |
Cool sounds fun bro! I hope you have loads of fun!! I've never been any where over there.
|
| |
Bro, this is double LP length. I didn't even check the total time before I started listening. Haha.
I felt like there were a few parts where it meanders a bit, but overall the minutes sound like they have a purpose. "Ripping Apart My Mantles" is my favorite. There's like an album's worth of material on that one alone. Great stuff.
Nice info in the review. Should be cool to re-listen with those things in mind.
|
| |
Awesome bro glad you liked it!
If it were back in the days when most people used Cd's in Cd players I would have probably kept this shorter but since almost every person alive uses portable audio devices[i-pods, mp3 players, ect.] I was able to fully extend this LP to it's full purpose.
And yeah Seed did an awesome job on this review, I was truly impressed. But thanks again for the feedback bro I really appreciate it :]
