Streetcleaner is classic for sure but their back catalog is amazing too, there's this, Pure, Us and Them and all of their EP's that can't go below a 4 in my eyes. There's even some killer songs on albums that aren't liked as much (Selfless has Mantra, Empyral and Go Spread Your Wings). New release will also rule

Here's what will happen. All of sudden, new album comes out and here comes the staff from the woodwork claiming it's amazing and how they've been listening to Godflesh for like 20 years. Their new album will be amazing for sure but fuck, wait until Pitchfork and this site pretend how fucking amazing this band has been all this time.
And for Streetcleaner, it's not their best...that belongs to Pure and Cold World E.P.

Damn you seen the future? and yeah Pure/Cold World is prob my second favorite of theirs, it has Love Hate (Slugbaiting) after all.

Hmm this is probably the Godflesh record I like less, I feel like it's trying too hard to just make riffs and not complete songs. Probably even prefer the dub remix by a short straw

YES their EP's are flawless too. Streetcleaner is in my top 3 favorite records of all time. Then I equally love Hymns, S/T, Pure and Us and Them. Selfless shines like a diamond at parts but has some of their weakest material too.
